The History of Teddy Bears.

Her eyes were wide and wet with tears and she was shaking like the treetops in a thunderstorm. “Now, to teen boys searching for journey, the concept of catching a bear was, well, nearly intolerable. Without saying anything, I ran back to the tent to go looking for anything even remotely helpful to bear-catching. The best I could do was a fishing pole and an old armed forces blanket. Therefore became the creation of the bear. A collectible bear is totally different than the classic store purchased teddy that you could give a kid. The industry outlines collectible teddy bears as hard, not floppy, and completely jointed ( meaning arms, legs, and head are moveable ). We’d approach from two different sides of the bear quickly, to shock him, and I’d cover the bear with the blanket and Shane would beat the poor animal down. Sadly , our prey turned out to be a gnarled old tree stump that, we had to confess, looked like a tiny bear when viewed from just the right spot along the trail.
